How does the remote visit service work?

I. Book the service and options of your choice via our website, and proceed to payment using the method of your choice. You will only have to pay for part “A” of the service.

II. You give us the details of the property to visit.

III. Once payment has been received, there are two possible scenarios:

1) It was a scam and the visit was not possible. In this case, we will send you a written reply and the contract will be terminated. Of course, you won’t have to pay the part “B”.
2) This is a real property and we were able to visit it. In this case, you will have to pay for part “B” of the service and once this second payment has been received, we will send you a written report including the options you have chosen (video, 360, advice, etc.).

How can you guarantee that remote home visits are safe for me as a customer?

Although Check my Flat was created to help you avoid scams, it’s fair to ask how this site isn’t just another scam. And to be honest, building trust over the Internet isn’t the easiest thing in the world; But here are a few reasons to put your trust in us:

Where are your services available?

Our preferred area is the south-west of Madrid, but we work throughout Madrid’s inner city as well as within a radius of around 20kms of the Spanish capital.

What happens if it turns out that the property I asked you to visit was in fact a scam?

If we weren’t able to visit the property because it was indeed a scam, then you’ve only spent the part “A” of the service. Of course, you won’t have to pay the part “B”. (see “Our services” page for rates)

What kind of accommodation can you help me find?

We are specialized in finding shared rooms, but we can also find you apartments and entire houses.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payment by debit/credit card via our payment service provider Stripe, as well as SEPA bank transfers (in this case, please consider instant transfers, as otherwise we won’t be able to proceed with the chosen service until the payment has been received, and this may take several working days).

How can you guarantee that payment for your services is secure and protected?

Payments received on our site are processed by our payment platform Stripe, which complies with the highest online payment security standards (PCI Level I).

When making a payment on our site, please note thatyour bank details are encrypted. They do not circulate unencrypted on the Internet, cannot be intercepted, and are not communicated to us under any circumstances.
